Our name,
La Journée Parfaite commence la veille (The Perfect Day starts the night before), is meant to be taken at both the first and second degree. Whereas it is wonderful to go to sleep to a sunset (thus starting your perfect day the night before), there is a another idea which is that the night before is not the night before, but a time before. And a day is not a day but your life.

India Starker

She : American, trained as an engineer (mechanical but can't change a flat on the car), worked for many years in software. Wished to get far away from that keyboard and open a boutique like Mom and Dad did in Provincetown and Sarasota from 1960 to, well Pop's still not retired. Frustrated that there seemed to be no store that brought together in one place the items to ease a fast paced stressful professional life, she quit software late 2003 (or so she thought) to create such a store.

Oops, renting a store in Paris is very expensive. It's not the sixties anymore. It will have to be an on-line boutique for now. India is our webmaster (until a replacement can be paid). Still working in software :-/
