Sit with your back straight.
If you use a computer, your
forearms must be parallel to
the floor or lower. Consider
trading in
your mouse for a touch pad or
pen mouse. Take a look at the
ergonomic keyboards. Beware
of
too-soft and too-high chairs
which can cause nerve
compression under your
thighs.
Take a break: Focus on a far
away spot and imitate an
airplane (put your arms
straight out to the side and
stretch them slightly
backwards). Lack of respect
for
these principals can cause
repetitive stress injuries or
compressed nerves, such as
carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS)
and
thoracic outlet syndrome
(TOS).
